One of our current projects is the reduction of styrofoam here on Whidbey Island.  

While our project is still in it's fledgling phase, it has been successful so far. 

Styrofoam  has proven to be slow to become a recycled material, however,

our efforts to shred and re-form this lightweight insulating product have yeilded promise to small local markets to create cost-effective building materials such as pre-formed slabs and refill material for bean bags .
